5b is a publisher that develops projects with under-known and emerging artists and offers new perspectives on established artists. Founded in 2018 by Ben Seeley and Kirstie Sequitin, the programme is artist-led and not bound by medium. 5b presents occasional exhibitions and events in their studio, located at Virginia Court in Glasgow's Merchant City.
In addition to producing our own publications, 5b offers design and editorial services to artists, galleries, and institutions.
The studio is open to the public by appointment from Wednesday to Saturday unless otherwise noted.
Location and accessibility: The studio is situated in a B-listed building in Glasgow's city centre, located in close proximity to both Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations, St Enoch subway station and numerous stops served by public bus operators. There is on-street ticketed parking available. There are three steps to enter the building, and a further six steps to access the studio. Regretfully, due to the building's listed status, the studio is inaccessible for wheelchairs. Please let us know about any special requirements in advance and we will try to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Orders are dispatched weekly in protective packaging via Royal Mail (First Class service) in the UK and via a tracked service internationally.
